General Symptoms
- Lethargy (unusual tiredness or weakness)
- Loss of appetite or refusal to eat
- Weight loss or gain without explanation
- Excessive thirst or urination
- Vomiting (especially persistent or severe)
- Diarrhea
- Coughing or sneezing (especially chronic)
- Labored breathing or panting
- Fever
- Shivering or trembling
- Pale gums or gum discoloration
Skin and Coat
- Itching, scratching, or licking excessively
- Hair loss or bald spots
- Rashes, sores, or scabs
- Lumps, bumps, or growths
- Dry, flaky, or oily coat
Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Mouth
- Red, swollen, or cloudy eyes
- Eye discharge or excessive tearing
- Ear discharge, odor, or head shaking
- Nasal discharge, sneezing, or bleeding
- Bad breath, drooling, or swollen gums
- Difficulty chewing or eating
Digestive and Elimination Issues
- Constipation
- Straining to urinate or defecate
- Blood in stool or urine
- Inappropriate urination/defecation (especially in house-trained pets)
Mobility and Behaviour
- Limping, stiffness, or reluctance to move
- Painful when touched or handled
- Changes in behavior (aggression, withdrawal, anxiety)
- Disorientation, confusion, or bumping into things
- Seizures, twitching, or tremors
Age-Related
- Pregnancy complications
- Signs of heat that seem abnormal
- Incontinence (especially in older pets)
- Signs of cognitive decline (in senior pets)
